Please contact us with any legal questions. For some of the most commonly asked questions we receive from clients, see below.

What are Barry Siegel's credentials?

Barry has been practicing law for almost 20 years. His reputation within the state of Florida is unmatched. The many clients he has gone to work for over the years appreciate his willingness to make sure their loved ones are properly taken care of.

What is "Estate Planning"?

After you have passed, it is important that your loved ones are provided for financially. Estate Planning is a method for determining who receives your money and property, and how said money and property will be transferred.

Why do I need an Estate Planning attorney?

Quite simply, the transfer of money and property is more complicated than it may seem. At The Siegel Law Group, P.A., we create a plan that ensures the transfer goes smoothly without any legal issues.

Where is The Siegel Law Group, P.A., located?

We have offices throughout South Florida. Our offices are located in Boca Raton, Downtown Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale Cypress Creek, Downtown Miami, Aventura, Plantation, Coral Gables, West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens.

Why do most Estate Plans not work?

The biggest reason is procrastination. Let's face it, talking about death is a difficult subject. We don't want to think about what happens after we are gone. That is just human nature. However, it is important to sit down with an attorney to discuss a plan for transferring your estate after you have passed. This will make things much easier on your grieving loved ones. What I always suggest is to sit down with a lawyer, talk things over, and then you probably will never have to deal with it again. It really is that simple.

It is important for the information I share with my attorney to be 100 percent confidential. What are your policies in terms of confidentiality?

We believe that an attorney-client relationship should ALWAYS be completely confidential. Never will we share ANY of your personal information or information discussed in our meetings to anyone, for any reason.

I received a letter stating that I am the Trustee of my father's estate. I have no idea what I am supposed to do now. Can you help me?

Most certainly. Barry has a great deal of experience in Trust and Probate Administration. He will sit down with you and advise you on who the beneficiaries are and how to go about transferring any assets to the correct recipients.
